AhlulBayt News Agency - Ayatollah Sistani's representative in Karbala, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalaey has cut the ribbon on the eleventh edition of Karbala International Book Fair held at Bein al-Haramein Area on May 5, 2016.
“Thirteen Arab and foreign countries have participated in this year’s book fair and have showcased a variety of books on cultural, scientific, ethical and religious topics,” Miyasar al-Hakeem, director of the fair, stated.
The book fair is organized on the sidelines of the annual Rabee al-Shahada International Cultural Festival, sponsored by the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and al-Abbas.
